March Description
CAT #63 - I wrote this march for a young friend who joined the
Marines in 2008. It's obviously a patriotic type march with corresponding themes. The break depicts the more ominous side
of a Marine's life during the wartime duties in protecting our country. The final theme is proceeded by slowing of tempo
and played through the first time as a grandiose style march, then increased to regular tempo during the final 16 bars.
As with most marches there are counter themes throughout the march.
