Red White & Blue March This march was named while
writing the 16 bar break which definitely had the flavor of patriotic music. Since I had no particular national theme in mind
but I knew I wanted it to be in that style, I chose the name Red White & Blue as a generic approach to an American patriotic
type march. It is written in standard march form with three trio repeats separated by the break sections. The 1st
trio repeat has a flute-bassoon obbligato solo part.
